Aim of the project: to support Georgia's long-term sustainable development goals and commitments, encourage green business growth, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and ensure transformational changes in the economy.
Meeting Summary:
Ana Sikharulidze, Director of the Sustainable Development Centre "Remissia", discussed 12 priority technologies selected within the framework of the project.
Most discussed topics were the following technologies:
• Bio-diesel production and supply
• Battery power vehicles (electric vehicles) and relevant infrastructure (development of charging stations)
• Electric heat pump of water (heat pumps for electricity-powered water pumps one of the highest energy-efficient systems of heating and cooling, which is new technology for Georgia)
• Development of the public transport
Technologies were selected from the following sectors: Energy, Buildings, Agriculture and Transport.
Meeting discussed finding possible partners and organizations for the fulfilment of the above-mentioned priority technologies selected within the framework of the project.
