Updating of Georgia’s technology needs assessment through development of a technology road maps for prioritized technologies/TNA

Work Meeting

On March 23, 2023, Sustainable Development Center- Remissia with the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia held a second meeting at the Biltmore Hotel, centered on climate technology action plans within the building and agricultural sectors.

This workshop was conducted under the project ‘Updating of Georgia’s technology needs assessment through development of a technology road maps for prioritized technologies/TNA.’

During this meeting dedicated to buildings and agriculture, representatives of Remissia discussed the goals of the project, activities implemented and ongoing within its framework, and the results of the project.

Remissia’s experts on buildings and agriculture subsequently introduced participants to the action plans developed within the project, including the following features: dissemination of climate technologies in the construction sector in Georgia, strengthening the soil with nails to protect against landslides, and the introduction of climate technologies within the agricultural sector.

Under the project, four climate technologies will be selected for the priority sectors, on which an economic analysis will be conducted as the basis for the creation of a future business model.
