Business Models for Implementing Climate Technologies in the Transport Sector of Georgia.
Training Session
On July 4th, a training session was organized by the ISET Policy Institute for ISET students, focusing on the topic "Business Models for Implementing Climate Technologies in the Transport Sector of Georgia."
The training was conducted in cooperation with the Sustainable Development Center- Remissia, within the framework of the project “Updating of Georgia’s technology needs assessment through development of a technology road maps for prioritized technologies” as sponsored by the Green Climate Fund (GCF).
During the meeting, presentations were given by representatives from the ISET Policy Institute, Remissia, Biodiesel Georgia, and E-space. The following topics were discussed:

Cost-benefit analysis of introducing selected target climate technologies in the transport sector.

Green Climate Fund priorities and financing in Georgia.

Financial instruments and the business model structure employed by the Green Climate Fund.
Toward the end of the meeting, participants engaged in group work aimed at developing business models for the widespread adoption of electric cars in Georgia and the expansion of biodiesel production.
