Remissia is leading the component on “long term energy planning”, which supports the Government in establishing analytical tools for its long-term policy making process:
In particular:
Remissia is supporting the government of Georgia in developing and using the analytical modeling tool (TIMES-Georgia model) for its long-term climate and energy policy analysis. The tool is currently used to provide the technical and analytical underpinning in assessment of the measures, development of various scenarios and setting the targets for Georgia’s National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP).
Remissia will be supporting Georgian National Energy and Water Regulatory Commission in developing an analytical tool for monitoring the electricity wholesale market which will become operational by the end of 2021.

Consultancy service for technical assistances in relation to Energy Assessment Services
Remissia acts as green consultant to the Bank of Georgia, with the purpose to carry out a certain number of impact assessments in order to verify and report the primary energy savings and CO2 emission reduction levels of those projects, which are to be financed by the GGF loan facility. Once eligibility of the measure is established, this investment qualifies as GGF non-standard EE measure.
